High-corrosion Resistance Trivalent Chrome Multicolor Passivator For Zinc and Zinc Alloy Plating

 

Properties

• Trivalent chrome passivator process without hexavalent and oxidizer, got SGS international certification

• Apply to zinc and zinc alloy trivalent chrome multicolor passivator process, excellent anticorrosive property

• Exceeds the requirements for hexavalent multicolor passivator according DIN 50 021 SS

• Produces coatings of a clear, green, slightly iridescent colour

• The passivation layer can also be dyed with organic colourings

• Reduce the cost of disposing waste water due to trivalent solution, satisfy the environmental requirements for prohibiting hexavalent chrome passivator layer

• Long service life, even with feed-back of rinse-water

• Comply with American GME00252 and GMW-3044

ATTENTION: Fill in TR-124 first and then dilute with tap water up to the final volume (hot tap water is possible, but it influence salt spray test).

Note:

1. Add TR-125 concentrate, and then dilute with dionized water.

2. Heating: necessary, out of acid resistance material (e.g. Teflon, glass)

3. Agitation: rack or (low) air agitation

4. Consumption: For each liter of dragged out solution, 180g of TR-124 concentrate has to be added; best is a dosage of TR-124 according to the throughput.

5. Hints: As last step before the passivation we recommend an acid dip in 0.5 ml/L nitric acid solution,  especially for parts plated in alkaline electrolytes.
